Overview

During the Journeys Highlights expedition, you will visit the most remarkable places in Namibia. Expect to see a wide range of different environments, ranging from extreme desert landscapes to lush bushveld and savannah, as well as the wildlife that flourish there.

Description:

Today you will leave the South of Namibia behind and continue on your way to the coast of Namibia. You will stay in the coastal town of Swakopmund for two days. Enjoy the various activities offered at the coast. Good food, adventure and cool weather await you here.

Day 6 & 7

Description:

Walk in the footsteps of elephants as our expert guides take you on a tracking adventure. The community responsible for the lodge will treat you like family and you will have a hard time saying goodbye.

Description:

From the West of Etosha you will today enter the park and will drive towards the South of Etosha. You will stay on the South of Etosha outside the park.

Etosha needs little introduction as it remains one of the most visited placed in Namibia. The salt pans are home to a massive variety of game and bird species. Make sure you have enough space on your camera's memory card.

Desert Elephant tracking

This is one of our most popular activities at Grootberg Lodge. A guide assisted by a tracker will take you out into the surrounding conservancy in search of the elusive desert elephants.

Moringa Guided Walk

Guided walks on the plateau are offered unless lions are present. Our knowledgeable guide will point out the various shy inhabitants of the Grootberg mopane savanna.

Damara Cultural Tour

Visit authentic homesteads of the Damara people and experience todays way of life of the #Khoadi //Hoas community.

Rhino tracking

Follow the spoors of one of the most elusive and solitary mammals. In an open 4x4 game viewing vehicle your guide and game trackers will take you into Black Rhino territory.
